MOBILE TRAINING PROGRAM
PROJECT TITLE : MOBILE TRAINING PROGRAM FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION
(SPED) TEACHERS IN SELECTED REGIONS
PROPONENT : PHILIPPINE FOUNDATION FOR THE REHABILITATION OF THE
DISABLED, (PFRD), INC.
PARTICIPANTS : Thirty-Five to Forty SPED Teachers from Public and Private Schools
PARTNERS : Department of Education, Ortigas & Company, Sagitro, Inc.
This intensive one-week live-in training program for teachers in a collaborative undertaking of the Department of Education, the UP-Special Education Area Faculty and the Philippine Foundation for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled, Inc.
The specific features of the training program are as follows:
A. Nature of training program
This regional training program will be mobile in nature with the trainors/lectures travelling to conduct the training program right in the region where the participants come from.
B. Time Frame
This will be a one-week intensive live-in training program.
C. Training Venue
The DepEd regional office in collaboration with PFRD will help identify a training venue which will strategically located and reasonably priced but conducive to learning.
D. Training Mode
The training program will consist of the following activities:
a. lecture-discussion e. peer-teaching
b. open-forum f. individual/group consultations
c. workshop g. observation visits
d. film and slide showing h. exhibits of training outputs

b. Indicators of Learners with Special Needs (CSN)
